“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team”

– Kevin Coleman

Working with former Euroleague players, NBA assistants and National Team Coaches & Players Kevin is continually learning, developing and growing the EBCS data base of knowledge and sport delivery & awareness. “I believe that player and sport evolution is a daily process that demands a coaches full attention. By taking ourselves across the world to watch / learn and understand varying methods or processes allows our coaches to harness knowledge to enhance delivery to those requiring our service,” quotes Coleman – here seen working with ages 3-14 at what will become one of Europe’s premier youth outfits in Luxembourg.

At the age of 13, I was introduced to game that would go on to consume me forever. Three PE lessons in a dusty old Victorian gym convinced me I would love this wonderful game. Weeks later, I was playing for Taunton Manor School in their South London league. My School friends invited me to visit The National Sports Centre at Crystal Palace to watch the home team host Hemel Hempstead in the then top flight National League. After the match, the announcer invited any cadets wishing to join Crystal Palace youth teams to make themselves known and sign up. I duly did and thanks to the genius of The Palace Youth Coach; Roy Packham, I started an adventure into Basketball that remains to this day. A playing career with Crystal Palace through to the Swifts and across Surrey, London, Sussex, local leagues and National Leagues four through to one. In latter years coaching / assistant coaching Croydon, Mid-Sussex, Crystal Palace and Guildford again across the National Basketball Leagues.
